Frequently asked

Know this before you order.

Most delays come down to three things: artwork, supplier stock, or an approval sitting with someone who hasn't signed it. Here's how each one actually works, so you can plan around them.

Decoration Can I bring in garments bought elsewhere for embroidery?

Generally, no. We no longer accept external, non‑Territory Uniforms garments for embroidery. Fabrics from other suppliers often aren't suited to decoration, and the risk of damaging a garment we didn't supply is one we can't carry.

If you think your situation is an exception, talk to us before bringing anything in. Section 8 of our Terms & Conditions sets out how customer‑supplied garments are handled.

Artwork Can Territory Uniforms design a logo for us?

Not at this stage. We ask that logos and images be supplied to us ready to use.

What we can do is adapt what you already have so it works on fabric — resizing, simplifying fine detail that won't survive stitching, and matching colours to thread. Send us your artwork and we'll tell you what needs changing.

Stock What if the style I've chosen is discontinued?

Talk to us and we'll find you an alternative — either a close match to keep your existing look consistent, or a fresh option if you'd rather use the change as a chance to update.

Lead time How long will my order take?

It depends on what you're ordering. As a guide:

  • In‑store stockWalk in, try it on, take it home the same day.
  • Ordered uniformsTypically 2–3 weeks to arrive from the supplier.
  • Embroidery & heat transferYour logo has to be digitised into a format our machines read. Larger logos and higher colour counts take longer.
  • PersonalisationNames and initials add time — each one is a separate setup.
  • Multiple logos or awkward placementsSome positions can't be machine‑fed and have to be done by hand. Allow extra time.

Orders can also stall at your end. We can't move past artwork approval or begin decoration until sign‑off and payment are complete — that's the single most common cause of a late order.

Lead times are a guide only. Supplier stock and production schedules sit outside our control — see section 4 of our Terms & Conditions.

Accounts Can we set up an approved item list or a staff uniform budget?

Yes — it's one of the most common arrangements we run for business customers.

We build an approved range for your organisation and can run fittings for your staff before individual orders go in. That keeps everyone in the right sizes and stops off‑range items appearing on your invoice.
