Taped or untaped hi-vis?

Untaped is day-use, Class D under AS/NZS 4602.1. Taped adds retroreflective tape for low light, which makes it Class N or the combined D/N. Work that runs into dusk, near a road corridor or around moving plant wants the tape.

How light can I go before it wears out?

Fabric weight is quoted in gsm and it is the honest guide. Around 190gsm and under is a lightweight shirt built for heat; 300gsm-plus drill is for abrasion. Lighter fabric is cooler and wears through sooner, and in the build-up most crews decide that trade is worth making.

Ripstop, drill or twill?

Ripstop stops a tear spreading, which is what you want around wire and steel. Drill takes abrasion and wears in comfortably. Twill sits between them. The composition and weave are on every product page.

Can it all be branded?

Yes, in our own workshop. Logos on hi-vis need to sit clear of the reflective tape, and we will tell you where a placement will not work before you order rather than after we have stitched it.
